Carrie Wible is a freelance content writer, humor blogger, musician, onetime teacher, and mother. her articles have been published on many medical, music, and education websites. Teaching Experience

Prior to having surprise twins, Carrie was a "mom" to over 2,500 children in the past 25 years. She has a professional teaching license in grades 1-8 and has taught 1-8 grade core classes along with beginner Spanish, computers, 6th to 8th-grade arts and crafts, K to 6th-grade general music, 3rd to 8th-grade band, and 4th to 6th-grade choir.

She also taught Sunday School and Children's Choir for many years. In the school system, she volunteered as a librarian, speech meet and creative writing coach, 4th to 6th-grade soccer coach, Spelling Bee Master, and Science Fair Judge. She is currently working on an Endorsement in Technology at Kent State University.

Music Background

Carrie has been involved with music since she was eight years old. Beginning with a fife her mom brought back from Gettysburg, she worked her way to flute, clarinet, and saxophone, along with the rest of the woodwinds by her senior year in high school. She has played in Bands, Wind Ensembles, Orchestras, and was a soloist on many occasions.

Private Lesson Instructor

Carrie has also been a lesson instructor. She gave music lessons to elementary students all through her high school years.

Woodwind Specialist

She has a Bachelor's degree in Music and is a woodwind specialist. She has played professionally, and currently plays the piccolo, flute, oboe, and the occasional marimba in the Community Band. She arranged the song Frozen Heart from the movie Frozen for the Wadsworth Community Band and male choir, and it premiered Christmas 2014. She enjoys working on arrangements for small ensembles and the band.

Crafts

A former arts and crafts teacher to middle school kids, Carrie now works on crafts at home. She loves to arm and needle knit, crochet, cross-stitch, and loom. She enjoys learning new things and is currently taking a drawing course in order to draw better.

Other Interests

Carrie enjoys watching scary movies, reading, cooking, and doing research. She is working on a novel and is involved with her local NaNoWriMo chapter.
