Ingredients
- 2 ounces maple bourbon
- ½ ounce bacon simple syrup
- 2-3 dashes orange bitters
- 1-2 dashes aromatic bitters
- Ice
- Half a bacon strip for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing glass, add ice, maple bourbon, bacon simple syrup, and bitters.
- Stir rapidly to chill.
- Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a bacon strip.

- Lemon wheel and cinnamon stick for garnish

Maple Old-Fashioned
This maple old-fashioned may call for maple syrup in the place of simple syrup, but make no mistake. You can use maple bourbon and add just a dash of maple syrup to turn the flavor dial up to ten.

Instead of the usual rye whiskey you find in a Manhattan, you're going to take a trip to the Big Apple in the fall by using maple whiskey instead.

- To prepare rim, dip the rim of the glass in the honey.
- With the cinnamon sugar on a saucer, dip either half or the entire rim of the glass in the sugar to coat.
