The Bacardi cocktail is not a modern cocktail, not even close. This little number burst onto the scene right after Prohibition was kicked out the door. You'll find the recipe looks quite similar to a daiquiri.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces Bacardi rum
- ½ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ ounce grenadine
- Ice
- Lime ribbon for garnish
Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass.
- In a cocktail shaker, add ice, Bacardi rum, lime juice, and grenadine.
- Shake to chill.
- Strain into the chilled glass.
- Garnish with a lime ribbon.
Bacardi Cocktail on the Rocks

- 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- ¾ ounce grenadine

- 1 ounce pineapple juice

Ingredients
- 6-8 fresh mint leaves
- 1½ ounces Bacardi silver rum
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- ¾ ounce simple syrup
- Crushed ice
- Club soda to top off
- Mint sprig and lime wedge for garnish
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle mint leaves with lime juice and simple syrup.
- Add crushed ice and rum.
- Shake to chill.
- Pour, do not strain, into a highball glass.
- Top off with club soda.
- Stir once to mix.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and mint sprig.
Original Bacardi Daiquiri
There's no arguing the daiquiri is a signature rum cocktail, it just isn't as recognizable across the bar as a mojito is. That's no reason not to order one. Especially since this Bacardi daiquiri is a reliable drink order.

- 5-6 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced OR ¾ ounce strawberry syrup
- ½ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- ¼ ounce simple syrup

- Chill a martini glass or coupe.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle strawberries with simple syrup.
