Red, White, and Blueberry Bliss
The hardest prep work for this red, white, and blue cocktail is adding food coloring to the crushed ice. But that's easy enough to make up ahead of time. After that, you can use your favorite vodka, tequila, or rum. Straight. Fireworks.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces vodka, tequila, or rum
- Crushed ice
- Red food dye
- Blue food dye
- Lemon-lime soda to top off
Instructions
- Fill a third of a highball glass with blue-dyed crushed ice.
- Fill a third with plain crushed ice.
- Fill remaining glass with red-dyed crushed ice.
- Add vodka.
- Top off with lemon-lime soda.
Raspberry Rocket
Don't put away your food coloring and crushed ice just yet. Grab your lemonade and vodka for a star-spangled awesome sour and refreshing cocktail.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces raspberry vodka
- Crushed ice
- 1 ounce grenadine
- Red food dye
- Blue food dye
- Lemonade to top off
- Cherry for garnish
Instructions
- In a pilsner or highball glass, fill a third of the glass with the red crushed ice.
- Add grenadine and raspberry vodka.
- Fill a third of the glass with plain crushed ice.
- Top remaining glass with blue crushed ice.
- Top off with lemonade.
- Garnish with a cherry.
Uncle Sam's Sangria
This sangria isn't finished without the red, white, and blue garnishes to tie this patriotic cocktail together. This makes approximately eight servings.
Ingredients
- 750 mL white wine, such as pinot grigio or sauvignon blanc
- 6 ounces orange liqueur
- 4 ounces cranberry juice
- 4 ounces cherry juice
- Ice
- Ginger ale to top off
- Blueberries, strawberry slices, and apple slices cut into stars
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, add blueberries, strawberry slices, apple slices, and ice.
- Add white wine, orange liqueur, cherry juice, and cranberry juice.
- Stir to mix.
- Top off with ginger ale.
- Serve in white glasses or rocks glasses over fresh ice.
Independence Margarita
Enjoy a twist on the margarita. The coconut water in this drink will cause all those fireworks in your mouth after the first sip.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces tequila
- ½ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ ounce agave syrup
- ½ ounce orange liqueur
- 4 ounces coconut water
- Ice
- Coconut club soda to top off
- Strawberry slices, blueberries, and apple slices cut into stars for garnish
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, add ice, tequila, lime juice, agave syrup, orange liqueur, and coconut water.
- Shake to chill.
- Strain into a cocktail glass over fresh ice.
- Top off with coconut club soda.
- Garnish with blueberries, strawberry slices, and apple slices.
Freedom Fizz
Red, white, and icy blue ice cubes bring the American flag straight from the pole and into your cocktail glass. Gin isn't your jam? Swap the gin and tonic for vodka and soda instead. Easy!

- 1½ ounces gin
- ¾ ounce elderflower liqueur
- ½ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Red, white, and blue ice cubes
- Tonic water to top off

- In a cocktail shaker, add ice, gin, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice.
- Strain into highball glass over red, white, and blue ice cubes.
- Top off with club soda.
Star-Spangled Sip
