Adonis
One of the classic sherry cocktails, although perhaps not as well known, the Adonis a simple two-ingredient cocktail using fino sherry and an ingredient you already know: sweet vermouth. Sweet yet herbaceous, it's wonderfully balanced.
Ingredients
- 1½ ounces sweet vermouth
- 1½ ounces fino sherry
- Ice
- Orange peel for garnish
Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass.
- In a mixing glass, add ice, sweet vermouth, and sherry.
- Stir rapidly to chill.
- Strain into the chilled glass.
- Garnish with an orange peel.
Sherry Cobbler
It's one of the most delicious and unique cocktails you've yet to try. This drink has stuck around since the 1830s, and it's because it's more than just a beautiful cocktail.

La Perla
