  • 2 ounces nonalcoholic spiced rum, optional
  • Star anise, cinnamon stick, and apple slice for garnish

Instructions

  1. Warm a mug.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add apple cider, spiced simple syrup, and lemon juice.
  3. Bring to a simmer and allow to warm through completely.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the nonalcoholic rum, if using.
  5. Pour into the warm mug.
  6. Garnish with a star anise, cinnamon stick, and apple slice.
