Draped Bust Dollar With the Goddess Liberty
The Draped Bust dollar features the Goddess Liberty wearing a dress with draped fabric over the bust. It was originally produced from 1795 to 1803, but in the mid-1800s, a few coins were also minted that bore the year 1804 (just to be confusing). The 1804 coins are super rare, which gives them some of the highest Liberty silver dollar values out there. One sold in 2013 for $3,877,500, and they can go for as much as $9,500,000. Earlier examples, even in very circulated condition, sell for at least $1,300.
Flowing Hair Silver Dollar With the Goddess Liberty
One of the earliest coins in the United States, the Flowing Hair dollar, shows Liberty in profile with her hair loose and wavy. The inscription on the coin, which was only minted from 1794 to 1795, reads "Liberty." Even in rough condition, this coin is worth thousands, but in pristine shape, it can sell for millions of dollars. A 1794 Flowing Hair silver dollar sold for $6,600,000 in 2021 because it was the finest known example of this style of Liberty dollar.
Trade Dollar With the Goddess Liberty
The Trade dollar was actually meant to be used only for exports and trade with other countries, but this silver dollar was also approved US currency until 1976. After that time, it was only used for proofs and is extremely rare (and sometimes faked). The front of the coin shows the goddess Liberty sitting on merchandise and holding a banner that says "Liberty." Values for this coin range from $220 for the more common early versions in poorer condition to millions for the rare later versions. An 1885 Trade dollar in perfect condition sold for $3,960,000 in 2019.
Seated Liberty Dollar
Minted from 1840 to 1873, the Seated Liberty dollar shows the goddess seated and wearing a draped gown and holding a shield that says "Liberty." Seated Liberty dollar coin values range from $200 for a coin in rough condition to $250,000 for examples in pristine shape. Minting errors and rare variations can make these coins even more valuable, however. One variation missing the motto on the coin sold for $1,050,000 in 2021.
Morgan Silver Dollar With the Goddess Liberty
The Morgan silver dollar is very popular with collectors, and fine examples tend to be worth a lot. Minted between 1878 and 1904 and then reissued in 1921 and 2021, the Morgan dollar features the head of the goddess Liberty in profile. When it comes to this design, Liberty silver dollar values range from about $36 for coins in very rough shape to hundreds of thousands for the rarest coins in uncirculated condition. A rare 1889-CC Morgan dollar, for example, sold for $660,000 in 2023.
Many people are interested in the 1979 Liberty dollar value, but that year's coin actually features a real woman and not the goddess Liberty. The 1979 dollar coin has a profile of suffragist Susan B. Anthony. It can still be really valuable, though, with uncirculated, wide-rimmed versions of the 1979-P Susan B. Anthony dollar selling for $6,500.

It's important to keep in mind that there's no single established "Liberty dollar," although several US coins have featured the goddess Liberty on them.
