Easy Dip Recipes: Ranch Dip
When you're entertaining on the spur of the moment, easy dip recipes are a lifesaver. Keep the basic ingredients on hand and you're always a few minutes away from a party!
Ranch Dip Ingredients
- 1 package Ranch salad dressing mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 cup cottage cheese
Instructions
Combine all ingredients. Serve with chips, vegetables, or pita bread.
Herbed Cream Cheese Dip
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 4 tablespoons green onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons parsley leaves, minced
- 1 tablespoon dill, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients, stirring until mixed well.
- Cover and chill at least 15 minutes.
French Onion
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/8 cup chopped green onion
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- 1/4 teaspoon dried minced onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mixing well.
- Cover and chill at least 30 minutes.
Spicy Guacamole
Ingredients
- 2 avocados, peeled, pitted, and diced
- 1 large tomato, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Mash the avocados with the salt in a bowl, mixing well.
- Stir in the other ingredients.
- Cover and chill for at least two hours.
Chili Cheese Dip
Ingredients
- 1 large can chili without beans
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan. Add onions. Saute until onions are soft.
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Microwave, covered, until heated through.
Easy Cheese Dip
Ingredients
- 1 package Velveeta, cubed
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can Rotel tomatoes and chili peppers
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Heat in a microwave, stirring frequently, until all ingredients are combined and heated through.

Spicy Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped, canned artichoke hearts
- 1/2 cup chopped frozen spinach, thawed
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 C fresh grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 5 garlic cloves, minced or pressed
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the spinach and artichokes in a saucepan with water to cover. Bring to a boil. Boil over medium heat for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain.
- Add the olive oil and garlic to a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the garlic becomes a bit translucent.
- Add the cream cheese, stir, and heat through.
- Combine the spinach artichoke mixture and the spices, mixing well.
